Parallel progression, parallel progression, parallel flow, common interval
If the sum of two consecutive terms of a sequence consisting of a fixed or an indefinite number of numbers is always a constant number, then the sequence is called a parallel progression or parallel progression or parallel series. This subtraction of two consecutive terms is called common interval. For example – the sequence 3, 5, 7, 9, … belongs to a parallel sequence whose common interval is 2.
