What is active and passive device in electronics circuit? Give me some example.

In electronics, the concept of active and passive is the same. There are some components in electronics that don’t need to be turned on beforehand to make them work. They are always active. We can use them whenever we want. We call them passive devices. Again, there are many components that need to be turned on like a bike for use. We call them active devices.

Examples of active devices: Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor.
Examples of passive devices: Transistor, Voltage regulator etc.
