During the transport of electricity or charge through a conducting wire, the obstacles that the charges face in their path, we call this obstacle of the conductor. The value of this impedance is different for different conductors. For example, copper or aluminum has less resistance and wood has more. This tendency of a conductor to block the flow of electricity or charge is called relative resistance. Relative resistance is a religion of its own. It depends on its structural elements or basic particles. However, when the temperature changes, the relative resistance value of the material changes.
The unit of relative resistance is Ohm.meter.
