Due to the effects of discovered dark energy, it has been assumed until now that our universe will die through a Big Rip or thermal death. As we know, our universe is gradually expanding. The expansion speed of cosmic objects like galaxies, clusters, etc. is supposed to slow down after a period of time under the influence of gravitational force. But the surprising thing is that they do not slow down. Rather, it is increasing gradually. That is, as they are moving away from each other, the speed of their moving away is increasing. Then surely some unknown force is working against the force of gravity. As the gravitational force weakens with expansion, the magnitude of this force becomes stronger. As a result, the tendency of all objects in the universe to move away increases. This unknown energy is called “dark energy”.

According to The Big Rip Theory, there will come a time when the gravitational force will decrease and the effect of dark energy will increase so that the planets inside the galaxy will no longer be bound by their gravitational force. As a result, the planets will move away from each other. And as our universe expands, energy will continue to spread to all points in space. By doing this, the energy density will gradually decrease. At some point, it will be close to zero. And at that moment no power can be used. No interaction will occur. The universe will come to a standstill. The molecules and atoms that make up the universe will also disintegrate. And we will take that moment as the death of this universe.

But this whole thing depends on dark energy. What is dark energy that is not well understood? If understood, we could be more sure, of what is actually going to happen.
