The people who are most worried about AI are the people who think, “So good, not so good.” However, the real job of AI is to act as your personal assistant. The Italian government has shut down ChatGPT, out of concern for privacy. For the last 20+ years, the Sers engines have thrown people’s data to shreds, where nothing has happened.
It is possible to take a lot of data from Android phones. And if you look at the permissions that need to be given while installing the messenger, the president of Italy seems to be going to the era of buttons. There is no peace there either, mobile operators can record calls if they want to.
The management of all major tech giants has a lot of political influence.
The real point is to save time. The output that the man of yesteryear would have given if he lived for 100 years, the man of today can produce much better output than if he lived for 20 years if he knows how to use the surrounding resources properly.
I am not against AI by any means. The more research is done on this, the more output the world will be able to produce in a shorter period of time.
