Blowing up a balloon and putting a piece of scotch tape on it and piercing the balloon with a pin over the scotch tape will show that all the air inside the balloon has been forced out through the hole and the balloon has become silent. The air pressure inside the balloon was higher and the air pressure outside the balloon was lower. So as the high pressure gets a hole, the air in the balloon rushes towards the low-pressure area. It is essentially secretion. If you try to blow the balloon without putting scotch tape here, it will burst loudly.
Again, a bicycle or truck tire leaks and the gas in the tire escapes with noise at a fast speed, which is an example of a leak. Applying heat increases the rate of both diffusion and emission. So if the truck had a flat tire while it was moving, the noise would be louder. Because in that case the temperature of the gas would be higher and the gas would go out faster. And if there was a leak in the steady state, the noise would be less because in that case, the gas would escape at a lower speed due to the lower temperature of the gas.
