Many people say that dengue mosquitoes only bite during the day. It’s not right. It is true that these mosquitoes increase during the day, but even at night some mosquitoes can bite. Mosquitoes that spread diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, bite more during the day, but it is important to be protected from these mosquitoes at night as well.
According to experts, once an Aedes mosquito bites someone with dengue, the virus enters the body of that mosquito. Then that mosquito can bite a healthy person again. In that case, the disease spreads among healthy people. In this way, dengue spreads from one person to another. Because of this, you have to try to be careful to avoid dengue. Be protected from mosquitoes at all times regardless of day or night. Even if you don’t have the habit of using mosquito nets, applying mosquito repellant cream, wearing full-sleeved shirts and full trousers, using mosquito incense at home, using nets on windows – these should be extra precautions.
