    Are mangoes high in sugar?

    Jannat Learner
Added an answer on May 5, 2023 at 1:40 am

Mangoes do contain natural sugars, but they have a low glycemic index, meaning they do not cause a sharp rise in blood sugar levels. Moderation is key, and people with diabetes should consume mangoes in small amounts and in combination with other healthy foods.

My mother knew Einstein’s stepdaughter when all three were at Princeton during the mid forties. They did tea with Einstein at his house (112 Mercer St.) on Sunday afternoons. Einstein waited until he heard the tea kettle whistling before coming down the stairs to the kitchen to join them. He was invariably disheveled.

He was usually in deep thought and not very sociable and would soon politely excuse himself to return to work. But when he dallied it was because he had a chance to discuss things of interest that had previously escaped his notice and thought. And this, despite my mother’s efforts, was not talking about physics. Her field was what today we would call molecular biology but he resisted her efforts to have him explain physics to her.

But occasionally, Einstein would pick up on a discussion that the animated younger women were having for which Einstein had questions. Politely, and with a cool intellectual demeanor, he would ask my mother questions. And he would bore in to a deeper point. One example she related was on her plans on hosting a Jewish religious meal (Seder). My mother was from Italy and hence Sephardic Jewish. Einstein, though German and hence Ashkenazi Jewish, had lived for a time in Italy and knew some of the differences in customs. Though not interested in the religious parts, he queried her understanding of these different customs and their meaning. Like an anthropologist, he tried to calculate where and when the Jewish traditions had diverged.

Einstein was, according to my mother, genuine and gentle but persistent and occasionally impatient. He was inquisitive. He didn’t make small talk. He tried to understand things, and only spoke to ask a question or clarification. He never patronized or disrespected these two young women. And, according to my mom, when asked on the IRS tax forms for his occupation, Einstein wrote in “student”. I’ve tried to do the same.

BTW, my younger brother was born 5 days after Einstein died, April 18, 1955, and was named Albert.

Sunlight and wind take a lot of water from the ocean into the sky. That water vapor rises in the sky with the wind. Once the concentration of water vapor stays in the air of that density. Due to the high density of the air below the cloud, the vapor floats up in the air. Clouds are moisture or wetness of the air. And the particles of water vapor are very small. These small particles get bigger and bigger by mixing one after the other. Then they start floating as clouds. They absorb more moisture when exposed to air. Thus, when the drops get bigger, they can no longer float.

Everything we see around us is actually different forms of molecules. When molecules of matter are close together, solid state is formed. If it is a little far away, it is liquid, and if it is far away, the substance is in gaseous state. Air is essentially a gaseous state composed of various atoms. The flow of this gaseous state is called air flow.

The state of matter depends on two main factors – heat and pressure. At the same heat and pressure, not all substances have the same physical state (solid, liquid and gas).

Whatever the state of matter is, it is affected by gravity. All matter on Earth falls from top to bottom. That is, towards gravity. Which direction of gravity? Generally speaking, the downside. But if you think a little deeper, you will understand that the force of gravity works from low gravity to high gravity. We see this flow towards gravity very well in liquids. Gravity is the main reason for the formation of riverbeds. Gravity is the reason why the ocean is filled with water. Just as liquids flow from high to low pressure, gases flow from high pressure to low pressure. It is necessary to say here that pressure plays a role in the flow of liquids, and gravity plays a role in the flow of gaseous substances. However, it is quite low.

Pressure has a close relationship with the temperature of a gas or gaseous substance. The relationship is proportional. When the temperature increases, the pressure increases, and when the temperature decreases, the pressure decreases. It is from the source of gas. But we will not go to the source. If you understand this for now, you won’t have any problem understanding the rest.

Heat on earth comes mainly from the sun. That is, the atmosphere is heated by the heat of the sun. As we know, the earth is always rotating around its axis and around the sun. Because of this, the sunlight does not fall equally in all parts of the world. As a result, the Earth’s atmosphere is not heated equally everywhere. So air pressure is not equal everywhere. Airflow is created to equalize this uneven distribution of pressure. Since uneven temperatures always exist across the globe, the airflow never stops. If the temperature changes more or less, the wind power also decreases.

When the temperature of an area suddenly rises, the air there becomes quite light. When light air rises rapidly, a vacuum forms in that region. Relatively cold air rushes in from all around to fill this vacuum. A severe vortex is created. This whirlwind is called a tornado.
You understand, the air we feel on earth is basically a kind of flow of molecules in the gaseous state. This gaseous state has always existed on Earth. We are always drowning in the air. But feel only when this air flow. That is, air from one place goes to another place. New particles are added or lost to the atmosphere due to the water cycle, plant respiration, animal respiration, and dust particles. But flow requires heat energy. This current is created on earth due to the sun. That is, the wind blows. Broadly speaking we can therefore claim that wind power is a form of solar energy.

    Multiplication of vectors

When two vector quantities are multiplied, the product is sometimes a scalar quantity and sometimes a vector quantity. Based on this characteristic of the product, the product of the vector equation is divided into two parts.

    1. Scalar multiplication or dot multiplication
    2. Vector multiplication or cross multiplication

    Scalar multiplication or dot multiplication
If we multiply two vector quantities and the product is a scalar quantity, this product is called a scalar product. To denote scalar multiplication we use the dot symbol as the symbol of multiplication, so scalar multiplication is also called dot multiplication.

Eg: Both force and displacement are vector quantities. By multiplying them scalar we get work, which is a scalar expression.

    Vector multiplication or cross multiplication
If we multiply two vector quantities and the product is a vector quantity, we call it vector multiplication. Vector multiplication is also called cross multiplication because we use the cross sign as the sign of multiplication to denote vector multiplication.

For example, the radius of gyration and linear momentum are both vector quantities. By vector multiplying them we get angular momentum which is a vector quantity.

    Speed Measurement
The wind speed is measured with an instrument called an Anemometer, most commonly used for the measurement of near-horizontal wind speed.

This instrument consists of a cup assembly (three or four cups) centrally connected to a vertical shaft for rotation. At least one cup always faces the oncoming wind. The aerodynamic shape of the cups converts wind force to rotational torque. The cup rotation is nearly linearly proportional to the wind speed over a specified range.

A transducer in the anemometer converts this rotational movement into an electrical signal, which is sent through a wire to a data logger or recorder to display the measured speed.

    Direction Identification
A wind vane is used to measure wind direction. The most familiar type uses a fin connected to a vertical shaft. The vane constantly seeks a position of force equilibrium by aligning itself with the wind. Most wind vanes use a potentiometer-type transducer that outputs an electrical signal relative to the position of the vane.

This electrical signal is transmitted via wire to a data logger to display and relates the vane’s position to a known reference point (usually true north). Therefore, the alignment (or orientation) of the wind vane to a specified reference point is important.

We still now lack of safe, low-carbon, and cheap large-scale energy alternatives to fossil fuels. Until we scale up those alternatives the world will continue to face the energy problems of today. The world has another global energy problem that is just as big: hundreds of millions of people lack access to sufficient energy entirely, and they got to use….with terribly: to themselves and to the environment.
